The "Vodokanal" stated that the water quality in Yekaterinburg meets SanPiN standards.
The water supplied from the water treatment stations to the city network meets sanitary standards (SanPiN). This is stated in a message from the Yekaterinburg Water Utility on the organization's page on "VKontakte."
"Monthly control is conducted at the filtration stations and in the districts," reports the Water Utility. It also provides a detailed district-by-district chemical analysis of the water for the week from August 3 to 9.
The water for analysis is taken from the head structures of the water supply (20%) and the Western filtration station (80%).
"Drinking water coming from the water treatment stations and in the city's distribution network meets sanitary standards and the rules of SanPiN," states the message from the resource supplying organization.
However, in the comments under the posts of the "Water Utility," people express their disagreement with the published information and write that "many filters are clogged, and water meters are malfunctioning."
Recall that cold water disappeared for the residents of Yekaterinburg on the evening of August 7. Water supply was resumed on August 10, but according to reports from citizens, cold water did not appear in all houses. Following the cold water, the supply of hot water also ceased. Energy workers promise to restore it no earlier than August 20.
