The court arrested a candidate for deputy who drunkenly blocked the entrance to the police department in Artyomovsk with his car.

The Artemovsky City Court issued rulings in cases of administrative offenses against two local residents - candidate for deputy of the Artemovsky Municipal District Duma of the eighth convocation for single-member district No. 2 Sergey Danilyuk and Denis Vakhrushev. Both were found guilty of obstructing the operation of transport and pedestrian infrastructure - they parked drunk on the pedestrian path leading to the main entrance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs building on the night of August 17.

As the court established, around 01:35, the intoxicated men drove up to the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Artemovsky" at 15A Mira Street in a Land Rover. They drove around three concrete blocks, installed in a checkerboard pattern to restrict access, damaged the barrier, and then parked on the pedestrian path leading to the main entrance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs building.

In this way, they blocked both the pedestrian sidewalk and access to service vehicles, including emergency service vehicles with flashing lights, intended for immediate response to calls. Evaluating all the circumstances, the court found the elements of the offense proven and imposed a penalty on general grounds - both were arrested for 14 days.
