17-year-old Anna, who was hit by a Mercedes-Benz E-Class at a pedestrian crossing on Vikulova Street in Yekaterinburg, is in a coma and on a ventilator. The girl sustained severe head and internal organ injuries. This was reported to KP-Yekaterinburg by her relatives.
The accident occurred on the evening of August 25. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, around 21:16, Anna was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing when she was struck by a 22-year-old Mercedes driver. According to the motorist, he did not see the pedestrian due to a "blind spot."
After the impact, the girl was thrown about 15 meters. She suffered fractures of the pelvis, ribs, and shin, as well as a severe traumatic brain injury with bleeding in the brain.

An administrative investigation is being conducted regarding the Mercedes driver. He is being checked for violations of traffic rules that caused harm to health, refusal to undergo a medical examination, and driving a vehicle with tinted windows.
Anna's relatives fear that the circumstances of the accident may remain unclear and are looking for witnesses to the accident. They are asking drivers who passed along Vikulova Street between Kraulya and Tatishcheva Streets on August 25 from about 21:00 to 22:00 to come forward.
