In the Sverdlovsk region, it will warm up to +25 degrees.
The upcoming week in the Sverdlovsk region will be contrasting in temperature. In the first days, cold weather will persist, but from the middle of the week, warmer air will begin to flow into the region. Daytime temperatures will rise above +20 °C, and in the south of the region, they will approach +25 °C. This is reported by meteorologist Alexey Pulin.
On Monday, August 31, no significant changes in the weather are expected. Cold air will continue to flow into the Middle Urals, so it will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of rain in some areas. In Yekaterinburg, the air will warm up only to +11…+13 °C during the day.
Starting Tuesday, the region will gradually come under the influence of an anticyclone. Clearings will appear, but significant warming will not occur on the first day of autumn. On September 1, temperatures are expected to be around +5 °C at night and up to +16 °C during the day.
The coldest night will be on September 2. Frosts of up to -2…-4 °C are possible in the region. Due to clearings and light winds, the ground surface will cool quickly.
By Wednesday, September 2, warmer air will begin to flow into the Sverdlovsk region. In Yekaterinburg, the temperature will rise to +22 °C. In the following days, almost summer-like weather will settle in: from September 3 to 6, daytime temperatures are expected to be around +24 °C, and at night +11…+13 °C.
At the same time, the amount of precipitation during the week is forecasted to be small, especially in the southern part of the region. Rain is possible in some areas from September 3 to 5.
The warming is expected to last until September 7-8. After that, temperatures will begin to decrease, and the weather will transition back to autumn mode. On September 7, daytime temperatures are expected to be around +19 °C, and at night down to +14 °C.
