The situation with gasoline in the Sverdlovsk region is worse than in the country.
A meeting of the headquarters on the situation in the oil products market, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, took place the day before in Moscow. The regions where the situation with gasoline is one of the most challenging were discussed.
The meeting analyzed current data on oil product production, the current balance of fuel reserves, as well as measures aimed at supporting the domestic market, reports the channel "Government. Main" in MIAH.
"The situation with fuel supply in certain regions, including Yakutia, Arkhangelsk, Novosibirsk, and Sverdlovsk regions, was also reviewed," the statement said.
During the meeting, it was announced that the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, together with oil companies, will continue to work on the even distribution of fuel volumes taking into account the needs of the regions. Independent gas stations have been instructed to strengthen control over pricing.
Alexander Novak urged meeting participants to act preventively, to timely identify potential risks, and to promptly take necessary measures to prevent fuel shortages.
"The necessary fuel for seasonal field work is being supplied in full volume," the government emphasized. Earlier on Sunday, it became known that the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region asked the Ministry of Energy to redistribute fuel supplies between Gazpromneft and LUKOIL to alleviate the rush at the gas stations of the first company and to supply fuel to the second, which is currently experiencing difficulties.
