Yekaterinburg residents have started filling public transport due to fuel shortages at gas stations.
City residents have started to switch en masse to trams, trolleybuses, and gas-powered buses. And all because of the situation with gasoline. This was reported by the mayor of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov.
— There are no risks for public transport operations because the majority of our fleet consists of electric vehicles: trolleybuses and trams. Almost all buses in "Gortrans" operate on gas fuel, and there is no shortage, — noted Alexey Orlov.
According to him, all key city services are supplied with fuel in the necessary volumes, and the work of private carriers is under the control of the authorities, writes Ura.Ru. Earlier, the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region reported when there would be more gasoline at gas stations.
