Today at 09:14 in Akademichesky, in the courtyard on Sakharova Street, a man struck an elderly woman at a playground. The incident occurred over a cap that a 71-year-old Yekaterinburg resident had taken from the man's son.

According to eyewitnesses, the father was walking with a stroller and his older child. The boy, apparently start to misbehave, approached the grandmother with his niece and began hitting her on the head with his cap. The father noticed this and tried to calm him down, but the boy wouldn't stop.
At some point, the grandmother lost her patience and took the cap away from the boy, which greatly displeased the man. Ultimately, he hit the elderly woman, and bystanders were also affected: the man's son fell to the ground himself, and the pensioner was knocked over her grandson after being struck.
— This child was running after my mother all over the playground, insulting and attacking her. She tried to leave, but the boy didn't stop. The father was nearby, but he didn't calm his son. The child started hitting her with his cap. Then he ran at her with his fists, — said the daughter of the victim to E1.RU.
Moreover, this boy is already quite large — he is seven years old. After the man's strike, the grandmother sustained injuries, and she plans to document the bruises and file a report with the police.
At the same time, the aggressor's wife claimed that the grandmother insulted their son. According to her, the pensioner began insulting her child and then started twisting the boy's arms. Nevertheless, according to footage from surveillance cameras, the elderly woman was indeed defending herself from the boy's attacks, who was running after her around the playground.
— The publication in the media has been registered in the manner prescribed by law. Officers of Police Department No. 4 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Yekaterinburg are conducting investigation activities to establish the circumstances and participants of the incident, and a justified procedural decision will be made based on the results, — noted in the press group of the Yekaterinburg police.
