According to meteorologist and author of the Telegram channel "Weather in Yekaterinburg" Aleksei Pulkin, it is expected that cyclonic activity will continue to dominate in the Middle Urals, only occasionally interrupted by an anticyclone (as in the upcoming first five-day period of the month). Long-lasting and stable warmth is not expected. Precipitation will persist, reports "KP-Yekaterinburg" meteorologist.
As URA.RU reports, leader of the "Meteo" forecast center Alexander Shuvalov stated that during the first 10 days of the month, daytime temperatures will be +20-23°C. Starting August 5, daily rains are expected—ranging from light to heavy.
In the second decade, it will become even colder: daytime temperatures—+15-19°C, at night—+10-15°C. Precipitation will decrease.
Warm weather will only return in the third decade, especially in the last five days, when daytime temperatures will reach +20-25°C.
— "This could be a good sign for a warm September," noted the meteorologist.
Preliminary forecasts suggest that August in the Urals will also be colder than the average multi-year values.
By the way, in spring there was active discussion about the news that summer 2025 across Russia would be unusually hot. Perhaps in some regions, yes. But it seems the Urals will avoid this fate.
