Public transportation in Yekaterinburg has been renumbered again.

      In Yekaterinburg, public transportation has been renumbered again. Today at 09:24, bus route numbers were changed once more. This time, the popular buses № 24 and 28 among residents were affected. Now these vehicles are numbered 64 and 84 respectively.

      Sverdlovsk residents responded skeptically to the change. On the evening of August 2, pensioners currently using route 84 (formerly the familiar 28) were discussing that they did not understand these changes. Or rather, their purposefulness.

      By the way, at the 1905 Square bus stop in the evening, it seemed that many people were ignoring the routes, unsure of where they were heading. People continued to wait for what they knew. But of course, it’s only a matter of time.

      It should be clarified that the paths of the indicated routes remain unchanged.

      As previously reported by the city administration, these changes are necessary to standardize the numbering of public transportation: trams operate under numbers 1 to 24, trolleybuses from 25 to 39, and buses from 40 onward.
