Two new roads are planned to be built in Vtuzygorodok today at 15:15. In Yekaterinburg, a new street will connect Malysheva and Pedagogicheskaya. The projects have been put up for public discussion, and comments will be accepted until August 15.

First, Pedagogicheskaya will be extended from Komsomolskaya to the branch of the railway near Yegorshinsky approach. Two lanes of 3.5 meters each will be created in each direction, with three-meter pedestrian and bike paths. Then, a new street 606 meters long with a 7-meter wide carriageway will be built from it to Malysheva. Sidewalks and bike lanes will run along it, along with new traffic lights and underground crossings.
Construction timelines are not specified. The documentation notes that the planned streets are included in Yekaterinburg's master plan until 2045, reports E1.RU.
Earlier, it was reported that high-rise residential buildings will be built on the parking lot near Yekaterinburg Arena.
