New fares for public transport tickets have been approved in Yekaterinburg.

      The head of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, signed a decree approving monthly fare tariffs for the city's public transport, which will take effect on September 1. This was reported by the mayor's press service.

      1. For four types of transport (metro, buses, trolleybuses, trams):

      — for organizations — 2,600 rubles;

      — for citizens — 2,500 rubles;

      — for students, postgraduates, adjuncts, residents — 1,700 rubles.

      2. For one type of transport:

      — for all city residents for a bus or tram — 2,300 rubles;

      — for pupils of kindergartens, schools, secondary vocational schools and educational programs aged 7 to 18 inclusive — 200 rubles for the metro.

      Children and students of secondary vocational schools will use surface public transport free of charge from September 1.

      3. A 60-day pass for all types of surface transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams):

      — for 20 trips — 585 rubles;

      — for 40 trips — 1,150 rubles;

      — for 70 trips — 1,960 rubles.

      4. Fare on buses, trams, trolleybuses, and the metro when paid with an electronic wallet:

      For all city residents it will be 31 rubles. For students, postgraduates, adjuncts, residents — 29.50 rubles.

      5. Transfer ticket for surface transport (buses, trams, trolleybuses):

      — without metro — 33 rubles; will be valid for 30 minutes from the start of the trip;

      — including the metro — 62 rubles. Will be valid for 60 minutes from the start of the trip.

      Those who have already purchased a pass at the old tariff will be able to apply for a refund.
