The Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) appealed to dacha owners and gardeners after terrorists escaped from Pretrial Detention Center No. 1.
The Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region issued an official appeal to the public after two detainees convicted under the terrorism statute escaped from pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Yekaterinburg.
“Attention, wanted! Information for owners of household plots and dachas in the territory of the Sverdlovsk Region. We ask you to be attentive and vigilant when visiting your household plots and dachas. There is information that the citizens who escaped (…) may be hiding on the territory of gardeners’ associations (in dachas, household plots). Exercise caution!” reads the appeal circulated through the media.
Wanted: Cherepanov Aleksandr Vasilievich, born 25 March 2001, a native of Nizhnie Seryog, Sverdlovsk Region, and Koryukov Ivan Andreevich, born 14 October 2000, a native of Kirovgrad, Sverdlovsk Region. Both are listed as terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring.
“If you have seen persons resembling these citizens, or if you discover the loss of personal belongings, clothing, vehicles or other property, please report any information about the whereabouts of these citizens to the following telephone numbers (anonymity guaranteed): +7 922 184 27 66, +7 343 359 56 11. Send videos and photos of the citizens to the email [email protected] — duty service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region. A monetary reward is offered for information.”
Recall that the 24-year-old convicts escaped from the Yekaterinburg “Central” on the last day of summer. In pre-trial detention center No. 1 they were awaiting transfer to a penal colony. Both were convicted of arson against the military enlistment office of the Kirovsky district of Yekaterinburg. They carried out the terrorist act for 40,000 rubles, which had been promised to them by recruiters from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
