Flights from Yekaterinburg to the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah will already be launched in September. This was reported by the president of the Ural Association of Tourism (UAT), Mikhail Maltsev.
"September is the period of transition from summer navigation to autumn-winter. At this time there remains strong demand for flights to Turkey; the weather there is favorable — warm and not hot. From late September–October additional connections to Southeast Asia and Asia in general appear," Maltsev told the portal E1.RU.
He also announced the introduction of additional flights to Vietnam: it will be possible to fly to Phu Quoc both directly and via Kazakhstan. In addition, it will be possible to fly to India, to Goa, as well as to Sri Lanka.
"One of the dominant destinations will be Thailand. It will be represented by Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. Tourists will have various flight programs and different tour operators to choose from," Mikhail Maltsev noted.
Besides the new emirate Ras Al Khaimah, flights to Abu Dhabi will be available to tourists in the UAE. Negotiations are also ongoing to launch flights to several other destinations.
Recall that about a week ago it was reported that Ural Airlines are resuming direct flights to Dubai from Yekaterinburg.
