Residents of the apartment building in the southwest were left without electricity and water due to flooding.
In the Yugo-Zapadny district, residents of a 25-story building have been without water and electricity for the second day. A flood caused the situation at the building on Amundsen Street, 57a.
— The basement and the building’s parking garage are flooded. The electrical room is in the basement; the building has been cut off power, and since the water is supplied via electric pumps, we have neither power nor water, — a local resident told the E1.RU portal.
According to the resident, there are sick people in the building who cannot go downstairs on their own.
In addition, residents of a 17-story building at 16 Akademika Landau Street found themselves in a similar situation.
— There was a flood; water reached the second floor. The first floor houses commercial premises. People are not even allowed to retrieve belongings from the flooded units. The elevators don’t work; the elevator shafts reek of sewage all the way up the 17 floors. It’s been three days and no one is responding, — added the Yekaterinburg resident.
Earlier it was reported that new buildings in Botanika have been flooded for a month.
