E-scooter rider hit two Yekaterinburg residents on a pedestrian crossing
September 26, 2025. In Akademichesky, a young man on an electric scooter struck two people on a pedestrian crossing. The video was published by the Telegram channel "Incident Yekaterinburg".

It all happened at the intersection of Vilgelma de Genina and Krasnolesya. The incident was captured by a car dashcam while stopped at the traffic light. The light was red, and the e-scooter rider ran the forbidden signal and hit two people.
The Yekaterinburg State Traffic Inspectorate reported that the incident was not registered.
Earlier in Yekaterinburg a teenage e-scooter rider doused a passerby with pepper spray over a remark.
