Residents of cottages near Yekaterinburg had their electricity cut off.

      In the settlements of Prokhladny and Kosulino, near Yekaterinburg, the power was cut off. Local residents were forced to sit without electricity from 10:00 on September 26 until late in the evening.

      — MRSK announced a planned outage from 09:00 to 17:00. In response to all calls to the hotline, the scheduled work time was extended every half hour. The problem is that the settlement is heavily dependent on electricity — water supply, sewage, heating, cooking. I don’t understand how one can treat the population like this, how one can treat one’s fellow townspeople like this, one resident told the E1.RU portal.

      Rosseti Ural said that work had been carried out. Homes have now been re-energized.

      — Planned works related to strengthening the distribution network were carried out. They were completed at 18:00. Some customers who fell within the planned work zone were reconnected. Work was also being completed on the reconstruction of one of the power transmission lines. The scheduled repairs and the completion of the reconstruction were synchronized to minimize subsequent planned restrictions. After it was put into operation, a local triggering of protections on equipment owned by another party was recorded. Rosseti Ural specialists handled the technological incident; voltage has already been supplied, the company noted.
