According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of IKI RAN, residents of Russia’s northwestern regions had a chance to see the aurora, E1.RU reports.
Recall that Sverdlovsk Oblast is frequently hit by geomagnetic storms. Changes in geomagnetic activity can lead to increased blood pressure, the onset of anxiety, weakness, dizziness, headaches and chest pain. Chronic conditions may worsen.
