A former aide to the Sverdlovsk governor has started working at Magnit.

      Former head of the Sverdlovsk Region’s Department of Information Policy (DIP) and advisor to former governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev, Yulia Khusainova, has taken a job with the Magnit chain of stores. Khusainova became the head of external communications and government relations.

      "I started work on October 13. Let me first get up to speed, receive the tasks and the plan, and then I’ll better understand exactly what I’ll be doing. The main thing is communications," Khusainova told Ura.Ru.

      Khusainova was Kuyvashev’s assistant from 2018 to 2020. She planned the governor’s schedule, organized his business trips, and ran his social media accounts. In early April 2025 it became known that Denis Pasler had asked Khusainova to resign. She submitted her resignation.
