Tram traffic in the center of Yekaterinburg has stopped because of a new three-section "Kastor".
This morning, October 13, tram traffic stopped in central Yekaterinburg. It turned out that a "Kastor" running on route 18 had broken down.
"The new tram stopped on Lenina Street and delayed everyone who was rushing to work," a Yekaterinburg resident told the E1.RU portal.
In the end, trams came to a standstill from UrFU to Lunacharskogo Street. Service was halted for at least half an hour.
The mayor's office reported that the "Kastor" has already been taken to the depot. A technical fault was found in the car.
It was previously reported that the new three-section "Kastor" trams will not yet be put on route No. 1, which connects Akademichesky and Vtorchermet, because of hooligans.
