Passengers of the Southern Bus Station complained about a new fee when purchasing tickets online.
Some travelers noticed that when buying tickets over the Internet an additional charge is now added to their cost — 7% of the order amount.
"I used to travel regularly to Chelyabinsk and Irbit, there were no extra charges. Now I have to pay 70–80 rubles more," a reader told the E1.RU publication.
The regional Ministry of Transport confirmed that the service fee has been in effect since October 1. They emphasized that the final amount, including the fee, is displayed on the website before payment so that passengers can familiarize themselves with the purchase terms in advance.
Recall that from November 1 fares will also increase on public transport in Yekaterinburg.
