      Revda on Tuesday, October 28, plunged into mourning over a tragic accident that took two small lives.

      As local resident Natalia told the Uralweb portal, people have been gathering since the morning at the supermarket where a driver yesterday evening fatally struck two children. They are bringing flowers and speaking in low voices as they discuss what happened. There are many children in the crowd. Everyone is in a somber mood.

      Recall that on Monday evening, October 27, on Chekhova Street, a 37-year-old man behind the wheel of a VAZ, driving at high speed, lost control and drove onto the sidewalk near the Monetka store. At that time three children were there — girls aged 7, 9 and 11. The two younger girls, who were biological sisters, died at the scene from their injuries.

      The third girl is in the local hospital in serious condition. The man responsible for the accident was also taken there; he sustained injuries in the crash. According to preliminary information, the man was intoxicated. According to his wife, her husband Mikhail recently returned from the special military operation.
