Entire family killed: a crossover plowed into a truck on the highway between Yekaterinburg and Kurgan.
On October 30, at the 75th kilometer of the Yekaterinburg–Kurgan highway, an accident occurred in which two adults and a small child were killed.
According to preliminary information, the driver of an XCITE X-Cross 7, while overtaking a Lexus, moved into the oncoming lane where he collided with a truck that was coming the other way. At the same time, the truck, while braking, grazed the Lexus, the prosecutor’s office of Sverdlovsk Oblast said.
Preliminary data indicate that the XCITE X-Cross 7 was carrying a 35-year-old male driver, his 32-year-old wife and their 5-year-old daughter. All three were killed.
It was established that the passengers in the back seat were not wearing seat belts, and the girl was being transported without a child restraint device, which at the time of the crash was in the trunk, the traffic police added.
Earlier it was reported that two people died in an accident on the Tyumen Tract. Their car collided with a truck stopped on the road.
