      The pre-holiday traditional contest "New Year Yekaterinburg" will kick off in the Ural capital on December 1, the city administration's press service said. Contestants will be able to compete for victory in 19 categories.

      The competition is intended to identify masters of exterior decoration among enterprises and organizations, as well as the best photographs depicting the winter metropolis. The judging will be headed personally by the head of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov.

      Applications will be accepted until December 25. The winners and prize-winners will be announced at a formal awards ceremony no later than January 30.

      Almost all enterprises and organizations can take part — schools, kindergartens, cultural, sports, educational and healthcare institutions; transport and construction entities, catering establishments and shops, shopping centers and travel agencies, administrative, management and business companies, household service enterprises, ice rinks, homeowners' associations (HOAs) and owners of individual houses.

      To participate, you must send an application by e-mail to: [email protected]. It must include:

      — the name of the legal entity or the full name of the individual entrepreneur;

      — Taxpayer Identification Number (INN) and Primary State Registration Number (OGRN) or Primary State Registration Number of an Individual Entrepreneur (OGRNIP);

      — the name, address and district of the organization;

      — full name of the head;

      — full name and telephone number of the contact person;

      — email address;

      — the chosen category;

      — consent to the processing of personal data;

      — up to 5 photographs of the New Year decoration of the facade, display window, entrance group, adjacent territory and public space with a resolution of at least 300 dpi in JPEG format.

      In the category "Best photowork 'Winter Yekaterinburg'", residents and visitors of the metropolis can participate. To do so, send an application by e-mail to [email protected] containing:

      — full name, contact details, and email address of the author;

      — the category;

      — a photograph of New Year illumination, winter landscapes, landmarks, tourist and popular places in the city with a resolution of at least 300 dpi in JPEG format.
