The tasting competition took place in Yekaterinburg as part of the 13th Interregional Agro‑Industrial Exhibition of the Ural Federal District. The jury, which included representatives from all six regions of the district, evaluated product composition, appearance and taste qualities.
Sverdlovsk producers won a total of 50 medals, 37 of them gold.
Among the gold medalists were products from the following enterprises: "Irbit Dairy Plant", "Refrigeration Plant No. 3", "Vkusno, bez sakharа", "NOMAD", "Sibagro", "Myasnoe Remeslo", "Reftinskaya".
As the publication Kommersant‑Ural clarifies, "Irbit Dairy Plant" won with its "Greek" yogurt, "Krestyanskoye" butter and condensed milk. "Refrigeration Plant No. 3" received the top award for its GOST‑style plombir ice cream in two varieties — strawberry with marmalade and ginger biscuits, and pear with caramel.
