A legendary pavilion in central Yekaterinburg will be demolished.

The Yekaterinburg administration is preparing to demolish the "Flowers from Alla" pavilion. The deadline for voluntary dismantling given to the owners expired on October 31 — city services will now carry out the work.

When asked about the timing of the demolition, the mayor's office replied briefly: "When the courts have their say." Reported by "Momenty."

The pavilion was declared an unauthorized structure by a decree from Mayor Aleksey Orlov. Three organizations now operate in the building, including the flower shop itself.

The "Flowers from Alla" pavilion is considered one of the city's symbols: it appeared in the early 1990s as one of Yekaterinburg's first private flower shops and for almost three decades graced the city center near the Main Post Office.
