According to the Ural Hydrometeorological Center, Yekaterinburg has recorded the latest date for the appearance of the first snow cover since 2012. No precipitation is expected in the coming days due to an Arctic anticyclone.
Thus, on November 4–5 there will be virtually no daytime warming; temperatures are expected to fall during the day, and by evening it will cool to around −7 °C in most districts of the region. Precipitation is only forecast for the evening of the 4th and the night of the 5th of November with the arrival of a western cyclone. In the southern districts of Sverdlovsk Oblast, daytime weather on November 5 will ease into a slight daytime thaw, reports EAN.
