According to Ura.Ru, on the morning of August 24, 2024 Svetlana went fishing with a friend. A quarrel broke out between them. The companion pushed the woman into the water. After that they went to an apartment where two men were present.
The group began drinking alcohol. One of the men — previously convicted of murders — began calling Svetlana a prostitute, and then started beating her.
“He pulled out a knife, pointed to a tattoo on his body and several stripe-like scars. He said that he had as many stripes on his body as women he had killed. He told her not to expect to leave the apartment alive, ordered her to come closer and cut off her nipples. When she refused, he extinguished a cigarette on her elbow, stripped her and began to coerce her into sex,” the outlet quotes the case materials.
Svetlana tried to run away but couldn’t. They locked her in a room; the woman had to undress. She was threatened with murder. Then the man drove a knife into her leg, pinning her to the floor. Afterwards they led her to a bedroom where she lost consciousness.
When she came to, she ran for the exit, but the criminal blocked her. He grabbed the Ural woman and began stabbing her with the knife. The woman pushed him away, grabbed the knife and wounded her attacker. Naked, she ran out of the apartment and asked for help. A bystander gave her clothes and called the police.
Law enforcement officers detained Svetlana and opened a criminal case against her for murder. During the trial she was under house arrest. She did not admit her guilt. The court found her guilty and sentenced her to 1.3 years of restriction of freedom.
