In Asbest a 37-year-old employee of the medical unit who worked as a lab assistant committed suicide. URA.RU reports this, citing her colleagues.
“We were not given official information, but unofficially it is known to be true. A very kind, beautiful woman, recently divorced, she raised her child alone. We are all in shock, we cannot believe what happened,” one of her colleagues told the agency.
Marina’s body was found at the Bodrost recreation base near Asbest. According to preliminary data, a suicide note may have been found nearby, but its contents have not been disclosed. The woman left behind a 14-year-old son.
Earlier she had worked at Asbest City Hospital, after which she transferred to the medical unit in Zarechny. The press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region declined to comment.
According to the media outlet E1.RU, before her death the woman may have fallen victim to fraudsters who deprived her of all her property and funds.
