Coach Sushko from Yekaterinburg was sentenced in a new case related to pedophilia.

      The Krasnodar Regional Court has sentenced Alexey Sushko for an attack on a child.

      The 42-year-old fitness trainer from Yekaterinburg, Alexey Sushko, was sentenced to 17 years in a special-regime penal colony for attacking a 12-year-old girl while on a family vacation in Anapa. The incident occurred on July 20, 2024, on the Black Sea coast, where the man was vacationing with his son and his mother.

      According to investigators, Sushko followed the girl and her friend and went into the entrance of an apartment building after them. The intercom camera recorded the children running out into the street, and a few seconds later the man coming out, adjusting his clothes. According to the victim, Sushko committed indecent acts in her presence.

      The man was detained five days later. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article on violent sexual actions committed by a person previously convicted of crimes against the sexual integrity of a minor.

      In court Sushko did not plead guilty and claimed that he had entered the entrance "to urinate," reported KP-Yekaterinburg. He insisted the incident was accidental and that he did not follow the children.

      The court found him guilty. In addition to 17 years of imprisonment, Sushko was ordered to undergo a compulsory medical measure — outpatient psychiatric supervision and treatment at the place where he will serve his sentence.

      Earlier, Alexey Sushko had already been convicted in 2018 for a similar crime at a fitness club, where he committed indecent acts with a child.
