"Shestorka" caused a crash that injured three people on Otradnaya.
Three people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred last night at 1 Otradnaya Street in Yekaterinburg, the Russian State Traffic Inspectorate for the Sverdlovsk Region reported on Wednesday.
The crash occurred today, November 19, at around 00:30. According to preliminary information, a 29-year-old driver of a VAZ-2106, traveling along Repina Street from Zoologicheskaya Street, moved into the oncoming lane, where a Hyundai driven by a 25-year-old driver was traveling at that time.
As a result of the collision both drivers and a 29-year-old passenger of the VAZ-2106 sustained injuries and were taken to medical facilities.
Traffic police established that the VAZ-2106 was driven by a local resident with 10 years' driving experience. He had been held administratively liable 13 times for traffic violations. A sobriety test did not establish intoxication.
Administrative reports were drawn up against the man under Part 1 of Article 12.5 (Driving with defects or under conditions in which operation is prohibited), Part 4 of Article 12.15 (Driving into the oncoming lane), and Part 2 of Article 12.37 (Lack of OSAGO insurance) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
The Hyundai driver is also a resident of Yekaterinburg with less than one year of driving experience. He had been held administratively liable once.
