The Sverdlovsk ombudswoman said why kindergarten teachers sometimes behave aggressively.

Children’s Ombudsman of the Sverdlovsk Region Tatyana Titova, on the air of the program "Accent" on OTV, weighed in on why preschool teachers behave roughly toward children.

According to the Ombudswoman, her office most often receives complaints about bullying in kindergartens — both from peers and from educators.

Titova links such situations to the overload of the teachers, as well as to changes in the children’s own behavior.

"If we speak about adults, most often the reason is excessive workload; fatigue accumulates. Plus, modern children are very active, sometimes overly active: they may not listen, not accept authorities, including the authority of an adult whose opinion used to be considered significant. Behavioral patterns are changing — and possibly quite significantly," the ombudswoman stressed.

Earlier in the Sverdlovsk Region a mother accused a preschool teacher of beating her five-year-old daughter.
