All of Uralochka's accounts were blocked because she was collecting money for New Year's gifts.
In Chelyabinsk, 39-year-old Ruzalina had all her accounts blocked under Federal Law 115-FZ because she was collecting money for New Year’s gifts for children and teachers, the Telegram channel Baza reports.
The woman is raising first-grade triplets; near New Year she decided to help the parent committee raise funds for gifts for the pupils and their teachers. Ruzalina sent her bank details to the parents’ chats and in two days more than 50,000 rubles were transferred to her; in total the account received about a hundred deposits.
Some time later she received a notification from the bank: the security service had detected suspicious activity and blocked all her accounts under Federal Law 115-FZ. To lift the freeze she must provide a report for each transaction and explain the purpose of each payment.
The woman sent screenshots from the parents’ chats to the bank and explained the situation, offering support staff to join the chats and personally verify her story. The bank, however, said that all her accounts were blocked permanently; she was only allowed to withdraw all the funds.
