As part of a comprehensive development project for the Vtorchermet area, 13 apartment buildings will be demolished, the city administration’s press service reports.
The plot is located in the block bounded by Selkorovskaya — Musorgskogo — Gazorezchikov — Obkhodny Lane — Okruzhnaya. However, the multi-storey building No. 64a on Selkorovskaya within these boundaries will be preserved.
“The project provides for the construction of a kindergarten and a sports facility. It is planned that the investor will prepare the design and estimate documentation for the major overhaul of School No. 21. The site will be landscaped: roads, pedestrian crossings, boulevards, cycle paths and cycling infrastructure facilities will be constructed, small architectural forms installed, and greenery planted,” the city administration noted.
Earlier it was reported that Yekaterinburg will begin allocating five plots a year for renovation.
