In Yekaterinburg another DUO coffee shop has suspended operations — this time in the Manhattan business center on Mamina‑Sibiryaka Street. Signal Ural reports. As in other outlets of the chain, "technical malfunctions" were named as the reason for the closure. The location will not operate on January 20 and 21.

Earlier DUO ran into difficulties after the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Sverdlovsk Region opened an inspection of the chain. The basis for it was media reports of a possible mass poisoning of customers.

At present specialists are inspecting the establishments and production premises and are also taking samples for laboratory tests. The agency stressed that final conclusions will be drawn after the results of the inspections are received.
