In the summer, the son of a Sverdlovsk woman who was killed by a teenager went missing during the special military operation.

Forty-seven-year-old Natalya Kiryanova, who was killed on the evening of January 6 by a 15-year-old in the Nizhny Tagil settlement of Gornouralsky, raised three children on her own, KP-Ekaterinburg learned.

Natalya worked as an operator at an agricultural complex. The youngest daughter is still a minor; she is 16. The eldest son went missing without a trace in the SVO zone in the summer of 2025. After their mother's death, the middle daughter, 22-year-old Anastasia, is preparing to become her sister's guardian.

As Anastasia Likhacheva told KP-Ekaterinburg, the teenager who killed their mother has obvious mental problems. Because of his inappropriate behavior he was homeschooled. The family is dysfunctional.

"He didn't care who to kill. He was coming down from upstairs, saw her on the stairs. He approached, hit her and ran," the woman said, describing the details of the tragedy.

It should be recalled that, since the woman did not die immediately but five days later in hospital, the minor has been charged under the article on attempted murder. Only on the second occasion did the court agree to place him in custody.
