On Okrainnaya Street between houses 35 and 36 a utility accident occurred, which resulted in a whole lake of sewage. It was covered with snow, and afterward the feces were gathered into a pile.

"There is a smell of sewage in the apartments; the stench on the street is simply unbearable. There is no special equipment; the lake of feces was covered with snow, and it continues to accumulate. The frozen feces were not removed; they were gathered into piles by tractors and left as is," a local resident told the Ura.Ru agency.
Earlier it was reported that students were evacuated from the Yekaterinburg Radio Technical College due to a burst hot water pipe.
