From February 1, three public transport routes in Yekaterinburg will be cancelled. The corresponding decree has already been signed by Mayor Aleksey Orlov.
Thus, trolleybus route No. 25, which ran from the Botanicheskaya stop to Akademicheskaya, will no longer operate. It will be replaced by a new route No. 25 connecting Kraul and 40 let VLKSM. For this, trolleybuses with extended off-wire range will be used.
The bus route No. 25, which ran between the Mega shopping center and Tekhnopark, will also be cancelled. Bus No. 84 will be extended from the Radio College to the Mega shopping center. In addition, bus No. 94, running the UrFU—CHPP route, will begin serving the Tekhnopark stop.
Moreover, trolleybus No. 39, operating from the Tobacco Factory to Belinskogo, will stop running. This is due to the need to avoid duplication with bus No. 51, which runs the Elizavet—Academician Landau route, writes EAN.
