A Yekaterinburg resident nearly died while waiting in line at the hospital.

A urologist at the City Clinical Hospital No. 14 in Yekaterinburg, Maxim Rasposienko, saved a pensioner when he accidentally entered the hospital for personal reasons. He noticed that a 65-year-old pensioner was feeling unwell while waiting in line. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region.

The doctor noticed that the Ural resident, who was in the hospital corridor, showed signs of a heart attack. He then performed indirect heart massage right on the spot and continued resuscitation efforts until the ambulance crew arrived.

      — I did what I was supposed to do. Resuscitation skills are present in every medical professional, regardless of specialization. It’s very good that they came to mind at the moment when they were needed the most, — the press service of the department relayed the doctor's words.

Earlier, we reported how a woman from Sverdlovsk had kidney failure due to painkiller tablets.
