A new appointment in the healthcare sector has taken place in Yekaterinburg.
Alexander Galperin has been appointed as the chief physician of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24 in Yekaterinburg.
As reported by the regional Ministry of Health, the new leader is an experienced manager and physician with many years of experience in the healthcare system. He graduated from UGMU with a degree in "Medical Affairs," specializes in urology, and has also undergone retraining in the field of public and municipal administration and healthcare organization.
From 2009 to 2018, Galperin headed the Central City Hospital No. 3 in Yekaterinburg. During this time, projects for development were implemented in the institution, neuro-, cardiorehabilitation, and geriatric departments were opened, and the operation of hospitals was modernized.
From 2019 to 2025, he led several private medical organizations in Yekaterinburg.
The new chief physician of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24 has been tasked with improving the quality and accessibility of medical care, implementing modern treatment methods, and developing the material and technical base of the hospital.
