The chief physician of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24 in Yekaterinburg, Alexey Malinkin, has resigned.
In Yekaterinburg, the chief physician of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24, Alexey Malinkin, has been dismissed, reports the EAN agency.
The information about the latest personnel changes in the leadership of medical institutions in the Ural capital is provided by "Uralinformbureau," citing the Sverdlovsk Ministry of Health.
Alexey Malinkin held the position of chief physician of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24 since 2019. The reason for his dismissal has not been specified. The hospital is now headed by Alexander Galperin, who previously managed City Hospital No. 3.
Alexey Malinkin's leadership of the Central City Clinical Hospital No. 24 coincided with the pandemic period (when the hospital operated as a "COVID" hospital) and the subsequent exit from it, which was accompanied by budget cuts and required tough decisions, reports medical observer Ksenia Marinina from the E1.RU portal.
Malinkin's resignation is a continuation of a series of departures from their positions by the leaders of major state healthcare institutions, which began after Tatiana Savinova took over the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region. Before the chief physician of the 24th hospital, his colleagues from hospitals No. 6, 7, 40, the cardiology center, the veterans' hospital, and others had already left their posts.
