Media: In Yekaterinburg, a hypermarket on ZHB intends to kill a stray dog.
The management of the hypermarket "DOM" on Vysotsky Street, 50 in Yekaterinburg wants to euthanize a homeless dog that has settled under the service entrance porch. It has been living there for more than seven years, said store employee Anastasia to the 66.RU portal.
According to Anastasia, the dog does not show aggression towards people. It was sterilized several years ago. Employees and visitors feed the animal, but after two more dogs started visiting, some customers began to complain.
After that, the hypermarket administration tried to seal the hole under the porch, but to no avail. Anastasia learned that the management plans to resolve the issue radically by calling the capture service. She is worried that the homeless dog will be euthanized.
Recall that in February, a story from Chelyabinsk made headlines across Russia, where a pizzeria administrator forbade employees from taking in a homeless dog named Dodobonya and fired a courier who disobeyed and sheltered the animal with a blanket.
The reputation of the company "Dodo Pizza" was damaged in the eyes of the public. After that, as reported by Russian media, the administrator was removed from management, and the company announced that it was transitioning to a pet-friendly format. Dodobonya herself was taken to a shelter.
