It became known who will be able to receive the new family payment.

      Working Russians raising two or more children will be able to apply for a new annual family benefit. This was reported by RIA Novosti in the press service of the Social Fund.

      Citizens of Russia who permanently reside in the country will be eligible for this support measure. A mandatory condition is the status of a tax resident and the payment of personal income tax for the year preceding the application submission. The acceptance of applications will start on June 1.

      The benefit will be granted to families where the average per capita income does not exceed one and a half living wage levels in the region, and the property meets established requirements.

      The amount of the benefit will be calculated as follows: first, the family's income tax is withheld in full, then recalculated at a reduced rate of 6%, and the difference is refunded. Both parents can take advantage of the benefit if they pay personal income tax.

      Applications can be submitted through the "Gosuslugi" portal, at Social Fund offices, or at MFCs. The new benefit does not cancel the right to receive other allowances and social support measures.
