The Sverdlovsk Department of Tourism lost a lawsuit to recover 73 million rubles from Baden Family. This conclusion follows from the registry of the Arbitration Court of the Ural District.
The Department of Tourism attempted to recover 63 million rubles allocated in the form of grants and 10 million rubles in penalties.
— The decision of the Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region dated October 10, 2025, and the ruling of the Seventeenth Arbitration Court of Appeal dated December 25, 2025, in the same case are to remain unchanged, and the cassation appeal is to be denied, notes the Arbitration Court of the Ural District.
According to information from the publication "KP-Ekaterinburg," the Department of Tourism attempted to recover funds allocated to support investment projects for the creation of modular non-capital accommodation facilities. With this money, Baden Family established 52 rooms in modular buildings, one of which is a hotel with 16 rooms.
It was previously reported that a thermal "resort" from Baden Family will appear on the shore of the Verkh-Isetsky Pond in Yekaterinburg.
