The search for three fishermen who went missing in the Sverdlovsk region has been suspended.
In the Sverdlovsk region, the search for three fishermen who went missing on the Tura River near the village of Shukhropovskoye in the Turinsky district has been suspended. On the morning of April 15, the divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations stopped surveying the water area due to strong currents and poor visibility in the water.
According to "KP-Ekaterinburg," on April 11, 64-year-old Alexey Mironov, his 28-year-old son Maxim, and 65-year-old family friend Valery Shestakov went fishing on a homemade boat. After that, the men stopped communicating.
Relatives and local residents began searching independently, and later rescuers and police joined in. The evening before, search teams surveyed the river by boat, but this yielded no results.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the divers' work was halted due to dangerous conditions—strong currents and murky water. However, the search continues: territorial police units are using a boat, echo sounders, and "cats" to survey the section of the river downstream. This was reported by Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sverdlovsk region.
Search operations will continue until the missing persons are found.
