At the old ironworks of the Turchaninov-Solomirsky family in Sysert, a monument will be erected to a patron who donates a sum of one million rubles for the construction of a new inclusive entrance to the Factory. This was reported by the Sysert Development Agency.

The monument will be made in the form of a three-dimensional art object. "You can propose your own design and references (supporting image, photo, sketch - note from Uralweb.ru), and we will refine the sketch together with specialists so that it fits organically into the space of the old Factory," the release states.

The funds are needed for the construction of an inclusive entrance to the Factory, where the creative cluster "At the Factory" currently operates.

"A 200-meter staircase with a floating ramp will be built here, allowing people with limited mobility to access the Factory without obstacles - this includes parents with strollers, elderly people, pregnant women, people with temporary injuries, people with disabilities, and children under 7 years old," the organizers of the fundraising, the Sysert Development Agency, explain.

Such visitors make up 30% of the total number of guests at the cluster. For now, they have to enter the Factory via a temporary gravel staircase leading into a deep ravine.

It is not possible to create a regular straight ramp here: the height difference from the upper point to the Factory territory is about 9 meters. The slope would be too steep, which would not meet the requirements for an accessible environment.

Architects from the FISH bureau (Yekaterinburg) designed a long and smooth route with an observation bridge. From it, views of the workshops of the Factory, built in 1732, and the historical center of the city will open up.

The entire project is estimated at 34 million rubles. Of this, 14.3 million has been allocated by the Presidential Grants Fund, 16 million will be raised with the help of business partners, and another 3 million is planned to be collected through the efforts of concerned residents and patrons.
