Sverdlovsk residents complain about prices and declining quality at "Zhiznmart"
The EAN publication reports that residents of Sverdlovsk are discussing the closure of stores in the "Zhiznmart" chain, as well as the decline in the quality of the chain's products.
Customers are complaining about deteriorating quality, empty shelves, and a reduction in the assortment. According to local residents, this format used to attract them with fresh ready-made food and the ability to quickly buy lunch, but now something has changed in relation to consumers.
There is a possibility that this is related to the overall decline in purchasing activity. In general, Russians have started to save and choose cheaper formats, refusing stores with higher prices. Some participants link this to pressure on suppliers.
EAN writes that former franchisees claim that the chain does not have a very successful business model for entrepreneurs. According to them, businessmen bear most of the risks, while the management company is only interested in receiving royalties.
Earlier, we reported that franchisees of the Sverdlovsk "Zhiznmart" chain are closing their outlets. Later, the company stated that only certain locations are ceasing operations, while the entire chain is doing well.
