Zhoga explained why it is not possible to publish footage from the UAV landing sites.
On the morning of April 25, Yekaterinburg was attacked by drones. An elite multi-story residential complex in the very center of the city was damaged. A couple of hours later, citizens and the media were warned about the responsibility for publishing photos and videos from the scene of the emergency.
The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Ural Federal District, Artem Zhoga, explained today why:
— I will specifically mention the ban on publishing footage from the scenes of incidents that have been attacked by the enemy. This is not an attempt to restrict freedom, but a way to protect the lives of citizens. Based on the published photos or videos, the enemy can identify a new target and strike again — at people, at the rescue services that are working at the scene of the incident.
