Passengers of seven flights are stranded in Koltsovo.
Seven flights cannot take off at this moment from Yekaterinburg, reports the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office.
The flights involve the airlines "Pobeda," "Aeroflot," and Nord Wind to Sochi (three planes cannot take off at once), St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Moscow, and Kavminvody.
Due to the delays in flights, the transport prosecutor's office has organized supervisory measures.
Flights to the capital are not possible due to snowfalls, while in Sochi, it is due to the existing restrictions on the acceptance and departure of aircraft, explains 66.RU.
Flights to Moscow and Sochi are also unable to be carried out by planes from the airports of Chelyabinsk, Kurgan, Perm, and Surgut.
"A mobile reception office has been set up on the first floor of Koltsovo Airport for prompt response to citizens' appeals," the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office stated in a message to MASH. "In case of violations of rights, citizens can contact the duty prosecutor of the Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office by phone: 8-922-120-60-50, or leave an appeal on the electronic platform."
It was previously reported that due to snowfall at the capital's Sheremetyevo, planes to Yekaterinburg are departing home with delays.
