      On Monday, April 27, the Ministry of Health calculated that a month has passed since "scooter-sharing companies began placing their iron horses on the sidewalks of Yekaterinburg," and summarized the results of this month in terms of injury statistics.

      "Of those who sought medical help during this period, 88 were adults and 46 were children," reports the regional health ministry channel in MAX.

      At the Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 9 in Yekaterinburg, 40 children sought help for injuries of varying severity sustained while using electric scooters.

      "Notably, 39 of them were operating the scooters independently, and only one child was injured as a result of being hit."

      Through the trauma center of City Hospital No. 2, 34 injured adults with moderate severity were treated; City Hospital No. 36 - 20 patients; City Hospital No. 7 - 18 patients.

      This year, incidents involving electric bicycles have been added to the statistics of injuries related to electric scooters. One of the cyclists is in the intensive care unit of City Hospital No. 24.
