      One of the management companies in Nizhny Tagil has started using cameras to identify violators who are dumping construction waste into containers for household garbage, reports v-tagile.ru.

      At three container sites along the Chornoistochinskoe highway, serviced by the management company "Svoya Kompaniya," the problem of construction waste dumping has become systemic. Garbage from repairs and construction appears there almost daily.

      As the director of "Svoya Kompaniya," Yevgeny Farapontov, explained, the waste is brought by the same people who post ads online for the removal of construction waste.

      Tagilians are forced to search for companies for the legal removal of such waste on their own, as the new waste sorting complex has refused to accept this category of waste.

      To put an end to this practice, the management company has installed video surveillance at the container sites to record such deliveries. In two weeks, the utility workers have already filed six reports with the police. The management company intends to seek compensation from the violators for the losses incurred due to their actions.

      Construction waste is not classified as solid municipal waste (SMW), so its removal does not fall under the responsibility of the regional operator, the press service of the "Rifey" company reminded. As a result, the entire burden of its disposal, in accordance with the legislation, falls on the management company. However, "Rifey" hopes that the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region will pay attention to the problem and develop a transparent scheme for the removal and disposal of construction waste.
